moonbowls (Healthy Korean Bowls- Boston Ave)

So happy to find moonbowls! Located in the Barrio Food Hub, it's easy to schedule a pick up order and get in and out. My girlfriend has some dietary restrictions and moonbowls is a great option for delicious, healthy food in our rotation (constant rotation honestly - we eat there probably once a week ).

Sam has always been amazing on the customer service front. One time, they forgot our extra vegan ranch and he gave us a promo code for $10 off our next order to make up for their mistake. I didn't ask or expect that but appreciated that they went above and beyond to make things right.

So this place is interesting. I like the concept they have, which is healthy Korean food. I love Korean food, but i rated this place low because the flavors just aren't there for me. I'm a cook and I know it's possible to make something healthy and tasty. I think it was lacking in garlic. From my experience with Korean food it usually carries a nice dose of garlic. But this place disappointed in that sense. This was my first timeand i got it delivered. So give it a try and let me know what you think.

Food was awesome. So fresh and perfectly prepared.
