Nick The Greek

Delicious, fast, and super reasonable. Clean, and the employees seemed to be having a good time helping guests. One girl even dancing to the music as she bagged orders. Got a souvlaki plate (too much food to finish!) and a gyro wrap. Lots of pick up orders but we dined in. Very close to Hotel Indigo and to Petco Park. Bonus!.. walked out and saw a fireworks show at stadium entrance as the Padres has just beat Cincinnati in an away game!

Great friendly staff and good food. Got the gyro bowl and the rice had a wonderful lemon flavor which completed the veggies and meat. Their spicy yogurt sauce wasn't very spicy, I couldn't taste any heat. The tzatziki was good but the bowl needed some chili or garlic sauce to break up the richness of the other ingredients.

I have been visiting California as someone from Savannah, Georgia. I stopped by the Ventura location of Nick the Greek with my family and was immediately impressed with the quality and variety of food. I could tell after eating the Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita and Greek Fries that the meal was made fresh. The staff took great care in preparing everhthing because the combination of Mediterranean flavors and spices were, in my opinion, perfectly balanced. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in trying Greek or Greek-American food!

Good food. Gyro meat was delicious. Pita tasted very fresh. Nasty music (explicit) and broken chairs - not very family friendly.

If you're looking for a quick good bite, this is the place. Overall I give 4 stars because the service is always excellent and constant, the food is good and the place is clean. I highly recommend this place.
