Outback Steakhouse

The bartender that was helping us Saturday March 7th 2020 at Outback in Mission Vally Mall was an amazing server. He was one of the most polite people I've ever had serve me. Kudos to him and this outback for being lucky enough to have him working for them. I hope they are taking care of him.

Friendly reception. Seated immediately since we were there before 5pm. It gets a bit busy around 6 but not bad. Friendly waiter promptly got my drink order. I ordered steak salad and it was good. Steak cooked perfectly. Always like their Brown bread too. My friends had steaks and cleaned their plates so they lime it too.

The wait time was about 20 min on a Saturday which was perfect. The staff was friendly and quick. The food was excellent!!

I always enjoy coming to Outback Steakhouse. They have a good menu with lots of options even for non steak eaters. This is it was no exception, our server was great and friendly. Actually, a perfect server. He was friendly and attentive, without being so in your face like some other places may be. Our food was brought nice and hot, and was delicious as always. Be sure to check them out on Wednesdays they have some great midweek deals.

Crab cakes don't have enough crab. Look like silver dollar pancakes. Other than that, my meal was good. I also had lobster and shrimp. Shrimp was seasoned to perfection and had excellent just grilled taste. Lobster was moist and tender. Note to bartender: You didn't garnish my drink properly!! It was missing key items. Do you go by the menu? Or are u using your own recipes? I ordered a can of beer and it took forever to get it. Not happy with bar service or drinks!! Bartender needs to go to school or learn the menu. On a scale of 1-10 you get a 1. Service was excellent. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars , is the bartender.
