The best Italian food I've ever had in my life. Took my girlfriend there for a little date night on our San Deigo vacation and needless to say, we will most definitely be back. The pesto was the best I've had in my life.
Such a charming spot. We were visiting and accidentally stumbled upon this place. Once you come here, you are family. We had a phenomenal time with Roberta and Barbara. We had so much fun with them. The food was amazing such a shame I forgot to take pictures. We had the spaghetti bolognese and we ate every morsel. Everything is fresh! Trust me, take a chance on them and it’ll be your “go to” Italian spot!
Incredible authentic Italian pasta! Wow, if you want delicious handmade pasta that melts in your mouth, this is THE place to go. I ordered the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and it was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had! My husband got the cheese gnocchi dish and it was super creamy.
The restaurant is small so the vibe is very personable. The owner and workers are so friendly, and service is quick. We also enjoyed their dessert Tartufo which was a chocolate hazelnut gelato with cocoa powder and chocolate sauce drizzled on top, which of course we were scraping the bowl for very last bite! This is a definite must if you’re a big Italian food fan while in San Diego, it’s not in the little Italy district but I think it’s better than the restaurants we saw there!
Amazing! Lasagna, Penne all’ arrabbiata, and pappardelle was on point. Great authentic Italian cuisine. Photos don’t do justice. We’d definitely come back.
Amazing ❣️ We went without reservation around 610 ish on a Tuesday, and it was pretty relaxed. It had a cozy atmosphere. The food was amazing-- we had the Tues-Date special, and it was a mixed seafood risotto (which we asked to be changed into linguini; best choice we've made). We also had the tortellini and vongole, which were great. The food was perfectly portioned, and we enjoyed the dinner from the beginning to the end. Also, I definitely recommend getting the lemon sorbet at the end!
We ordered one appetizer, 4 main (2 special menu), 3 desserts, 2 glasses of wine. About $45 per person.
One note: due to the location, it is quite difficult to find a space to park.
