I had a great experience at Pizza Cassette while visiting San Diego with some friends. This was easily a top-3 crust for me. Just perfect. It feels like a hidden oasis in the midst of an industrial area - once you walk under the first set of string lights you are transported to a wonderful night full of drinks,
pizza and live music. And bless all those heat lamps 🙏🏼 I’ll be back!
Yum! Super tasty pizza. Its great to have while you're enjoying your favorite beer or mead. I highly recommend the hornet's nest. It has hot honey and jalapenos, so good! The BLT was also really flavorful.
I've been blessed to try many different types of pizza from Jimmy the pizzaiolo. Let me say they have all been unique and delicious. The crust is the same every time, absolute fire. Charred, chewy, amazingly consistent. The first time I ever reheated a leftover pizza from him the next day, and eaten it for lunch my taste buds felt like an old lady handed it to me in a back alley in Italy somewhere. *It was his most basic Margherita style! To that I say bravo Jimmy and bravo Pizza Cassette.
Great pizza. Delicious pretzels, hummus, and olives.
I'll be coming back to try one on the sandwiches soon.
Love the patio.
One of the best in San Diego! I’ve tried multiple pizzas here and each one has been amazing. The crust is done right and they use the best ingredients. My only complaint is that the pizzas are too small, I’ve split one with a friend and was still hungry but don’t feel bad eating one of these pizzas solo. It’s easy to do cause they are so damn good!
