We were celebrating our Anniversary. We chose the Associate, Parker house rolls, creamed Spanish, asparagus and shell Mac. They were exquisite. The steak was so tender and juicy. Everything was perfectly done. We chose the bananas foster cheesecake for dessert and this was the best piece of cheesecake I’ve ever had. We will def go back
We first went there to get a table for my co-workers visiting out of town and a manager stated there is no availability, we then head to a restaurant about a mile away and then I call rare society and they said they can get us in no problem. We literally left and they sat us right away and had our appetizers before the slated time that the manager said we could be seated meanwhile the tables next to us were open and we're never set the entire night.
The food I might add was amazing, steak was cooked perfectly and everything was seasoned great.
This is definitely a dining experience and most enjoyed with friends too. Get the big platter of meat with their recommendations. You can't go wrong. We shared everything including the two orders of Parker rolls. Get the bacon and throw some on a roll. Also don't forget dessert even if you aren't a dessert person you will cry after you taste their butter cake.
Items orders were the steak board, broccolini, asparagus, rolls, oysters on the half shell, banana foster cheesecake, espresso martini, another vodka cocktail that I can’t remember the name of LOL. Everything was wonderful including the excellent service from each person that touched our table. Service was very attentive without being a nuisance. As soon as we finished a cocktail, Matthew, our server was ready to check if another was needed. Matthew also made excellent menu suggestions for our group.
Highly recommend Rare Society when celebrating a special event! We were celebrating a birthday, and the team didn’t miss a beat presenting dessert with a lit candle making our guest of honor feel extra special. Thanks for a great night, Rare Society! We’ll be back!
Our usual steak place had disappointed us the last couple visits and since Rare Society Google reviews were comparable, we thought we’d try something new. Rare Society didn’t disappoint!
The restaurant was located in an area where parking can be sparse so we gave ourselves plenty of time to find parking. We luckily found a spot just around the corner. We were immediately seated in a large comfortable booth. The staff were friendly and had impeccable timing. Our waiter engaged with my daughter which I appreciated. It showed that they cared about all dinners, young and old.
Here’s what we ordered:
Oyster Rockefeller - oysters are hit and miss for me. These however, were a hit. The spinach, arugula and hint of citrus perfectly balanced the salty ocean flavor of the oysters.
Parker house rolls - my daughter described the rolls as having a marshmallowy texture. They were light, fluffy and buttery.
The associate - this was a compilation of chef choice cuts as well as bone marrow. This board was meant for two, but it was perfect for 3. Our favorite was the filet, but everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. We were warned that they weren’t shy with the salt and we were much happier for it.
Asparagus and whipped potatoes (sides) - the asparagus were cooked well and still had a “bite” to them. The potatoes were creamy and well seasoned. The potatoes were our favorite side.
Butter cake - the spongy cake was moist. All of the components together made for perfect bites.
Expresso martini - hands down the best I’ve had. It was perfectly balanced.
The meal cost approximately $350 (with tip). It was without a doubt, worth every penny. We will definitely be returning.
