First time here! Boyfriend and I ordered 2 cali burritos and they were huge, packed with flavor and so good accompanied with their free salsa on top and chips. We will be back!
First time here and I must say it was delicious. I love the customer service. You get that family feeling from the owner and staff. The salsa bar was so good. The sauces were freshly made so you can taste the heart and soul. I had the Al Pastor taco and the corn tortillas were fresh. I would definitely recommend this place. Eat there then walk it off in IKEA.
I love this new location in San Diego by Costco! The marlin taco was amazing with a delicious smokey and savory flavor (didn't last long enough to get a picture) and the carne asada fries were loaded up with generous guacamole and pico de gallo. Highly recommend with the salsa diabla!
First time trying. Let me start by saying that the staff was notably friendly and attentive. The establishment is new and kept clean. Indoor and outdoor seating options including a bar with some seating as well.
I only ordered one item which was the Chimichanga with Carne Asada. On the high notes, it was well fried and there had to have been an entire porterhouse of steak in it! That being said, that was all that was inside. The cheese, guacamole, sourcream, and olives are all cold toppings.
My biggest letdown was ordering it with "Diablo sauce" which says extra hot. Let me say for a place called Jalapeños, there was zero heat. They graciously give chips and have a salsa bar. I was chasing each bite with salsa to try to find heat, but of the four salsas, they are mild at best.
The menu is massive though, so there's plenty of other options. I'd say if you're in San Diego with so many options this would be very low on my list for Mexican. It's quite a generic chainlike establishment to me. I definitely left full though and it was not bad if your in the area for a quick bite.
I ordered a shrimp bowl and diet coke. I was given a complimentary order of fresh nacho chips & there is a salsa bar with 4 items.
I sat at the counter with comfy soft swivel bar stools, but there are a few tables & booths.
