Specialty's Café & Bakery

One of my favorite meeting places in the UTC area. It used to be a bank so there's always plenty of room. It's rarely crowded, it's quiet and easily accessible from La Jolla Village Drive. Their baked goods are delicious, I love their quiches and they have some great lunch items. You have to pay for parking but they do offer validation to help offset the cost.

This is a great bakery cafe with super friendly service. The pastries are baked in house so they are pretty fresh when you get them. There's a variety of different pastries, but also sandwiches and soups/salads. The pricing is fair, most of the bakery items are around $3. I tried the blueberry cream cheese danish and the almond pastry. Both were quite delicious.

Fresh, healthy, and fast... Specialty's never disappoints. The sandwiches are great and the customization options are the best. This location has a Peets Coffee inside and you can order on a single bill. Don't forget to get parking validated before you leave.

Needed a place to have a work meeting with laptop, in addition good food. This place was perfect, plenty of space in the dining room and lots of sandwich, salad, vegetation, and cookie options to choose from. It can get busy around lunchtime, but have always found a place to sit and eat. Staff was friendly and food turn around was quick.
