    Their tamales were some of the best I've had if I'm being honest. Never would have thought I would find a place that beats the homemade tamales I knew and grew up with in L.A.

    The place is actually a little mom and pop cart, not a fine in restaurant. The Tamales are still anywhere from $2-$2.50 each at the time of this review. The taste is amazing! The lady keeps them in steam.so they are nicely moist and full of flavor! Ordered the beef and pork ones and the are great! Definately recommend them for those moments when the craving for Tamales strikes!

    Beef and pork tamales are excellent. The pork tamale in banana leaf made this place go to the top of my list, the best tamale I had it in San Diego so far.
