Tandoori Tadka Indian Kitchen

I went here with my family and usually we had eaten less spicy Indian food, however, I was not sure how ithe preparation would be so I asked for medium spicy levels for all my dishes. We ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb curry and vindaloo and oh boy, I was so pleased with the food, I went and thanked the chef. I also want to give credit to the front desk girl who helped me to place my order. Their butter naan and garlic naan is too good, definitely comes recommended. I am definitely going back here as I also find them quite reasonable as compared to the full service Indian restaurant in this area.

Cozy little place with limited yet quite a bit of items in their menu and the food tastes quite good as compared to other Indian restaurants in this area. Keep in mind it is not a "sit and order to the server" or full service restaurant rather you walk in, order your food and dine in or take home. The front desk lady was very courteous and friendly and even helped me to order my food.

EDIT: We gave second chance to this place after our last experience. This time the service was good (wasn’t the same person). We finally got chance to eat food. The “yellow dal” was outstanding and same as the Naan. We highly recommend the food here. Also, got chance to talk to owner regarding our last experience. He ensures that it will never happens again and asked about our honest feedback to improve service and food as well. Updated my review from 1star to 4 star.

OLD: UNWELCOMING EXPERIENCE...!! The staff is most unprofessional. We stop by 8:20ish and the counter personal just rudely told TO-GO only. We really want to try their food but I think they don't want customer at all. We haven’t had any chance to eat there but not going AGAIN. NOT recommended if you are looking for service.

I liked the atmosphere and the staff. They have really affordable lunch specials. You can choose two items. It comes with rice and nan. You can add a mango lassi for $2. Service is quick. The plating is beautiful. My main complaint is that the food is about 3 to 4 times saltier than it should be. If I didn't have a mango lassi, I'm not sure I would have been able to finish my meal. Does the chef/kitchen manager not taste his/her food before serving? Or maybe they are a smoker that has no taste buds left? I'd have a hard time believing that anyone who tasted the food would actually be enjoying it. The place has potential, but number 1 is always the food. I'd like to give a higher rating, but the food is sub par. I'd rather have food that didn't look that great, but tasted incredible. If you were only eating with your eyes, then it's great. Hopefully this place fixes the issue of concern. From reading your reviews, I see I'm not the only one who feels this way.
