Yokohama Yakitori Koubou

Decent teriyaki chicken bowl .. can’t expect much better from drive thru.

japanese food at this spot - very good. Do yourself a favor and try this place. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I liked.

I would like to give this place solid five starts for the best yakitori I have ever had. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were there early enough that we were able to get two chairs at the bar, which probably were the worst in the restaurant, but the service and food absolutely made up for it. Unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the dishes, but absolutely recommend everything in the menu. The chicken, tongue, tuna, okonomiyaki, and one of their omelettes. The food was absolutely delicious, I couldn't recommend this place enough. We were so so impressed, we are planning on coming back very soon.!

Pretty busy even late on a weeknight. Yakitori is expensive as always but the price is pretty worth. Definitely try the higher end skewers if you can shell out. The bowls are also really good. Great for late night and a pretty good selection of food other than skewers.

This place is always busy which just speaks volumes. Being located in convoy street the hub for all Asian cuisine the restaurant is able to set itself apart by providing high quality food with a traditional Japanese ambiance. I always love coming here especially with a group of people so that we can explore more of the menu. Yakitori's are all small plates and so we can get a variety of different plates when I go in a group. This is one of my favorite restaurant in San Diego.
