“We hired Chef Cody for my Mom’s birthday dinner last month and it was amazing! His ingredients were so fresh, his plating was so beautiful, and he brought great energy into our home. You could tell how much thought and detail went into each dish. It was such a treat to have this quality of food brought directly to our house. I highly recommend!”

“I'll start of by saying its a Hidden Gem!!! I'm one of those people that goes to a new restaurant and must try a few things on the menu. The menu is not that extensive but everything on it is delicious. A mix of I want to say African, American, Mexican and Even Asian makes this place unique and mind blowing. The chicken is prob some of the best if not the best you will find around San Diego! Juicy and yet crispy, the texture just perfect. Hard to find located in joint w the donut place both different owners sharing the same location. I will definitely go back.”

“Awesome pizza. Detroit style is my new favorite. The crust is thick but impossibly light and crispy. Toppings go right to the edge. Caramelized crispy sides. Light and chunky sauce. It sounds like they mix the menu up a bit so you might not be able to order all the toppings you want, but I'm looking forward to what they have coming in the future. I had the double pepperoni and it was perfection. I'll be a regular.”

“I am a food delivery driver so I go to a lot of Starbucks. I have been to every one in the San Diego area at least once. The baristas at this location are some of the best out of all of the Starbucks. The are knowledgeable professional and really personable. My favorite location.”

“MY FAVORITE JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE OF ALL TIME!!! I can’t believe this is my first time leaving a review, but I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years now and I’m sooo glad to see they’re still open after the up & down restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a family owned business and they’ve always made me feel just that... at home! I love catching up with the staff every time I come by. My go to has always been the shrimp egg rolls & the filet mignon w/ fried rice & veggies. I’m literally ADDICTED to the creamy white sauce they serve w/ the plates. Honestly, I don’t know why anyone would choose another hibachi experience over this one! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.”

“One of the most loving Starbucks I came across!! My day didn't go so well, hence I may have (surely I have) carried an upset/letdown tone while ordering my drinks, I tried to order the golden ginger drink but the sweet girl, who was taking my order, told me that it has been discontinued, so I said just give me any two lemonades (while I was taking out my credit card) and she said ok. While in the process of transaction, she asked: "How is your day going?" My routinized response almost said "good" but with a slight pause I said "Not so well." With a sweet smile from her eyes she kindly cheered "Hope your day will be better with the lemonades." Upon receiving my drinks one of the staff (probably the manager) gave me a cake pop along with my drinks and wishing me a better day! So the moral of the story is: when a starbucks's member asks you how is your day, just say "not so good" and you will get a free cake pop. ^I am just kidding. I am sincerely grateful for the cake pop and the kind wishes. Thank you Starbucks's crew!!!”

“Environment was nice but food was only fair. Enchiladas tasted funny and french fries were extremely salty. Cuban sandwich was also too salty. Very friendly, helpful service, open late, which was the main draw for us. However, I probably won't be going back, especially since parking was difficult.”

“let me start by saying im extremely picky about my pizza.... there pizza is just the way I like it! thin crust, perfectly cooked. not to much sauce. the supreme was great! not to crowded with toppings and I must say the cheese they use is supreme! very little grease, even on the peperoni pizza. staff is very friendly and the place is clean and very well lit, easy to get to and right next to a cool comic book shop. I think I may have found my go to spot!”

“Baja grill, more like Baja thrill!! This place is amazing!!! This vegan burrito is hands-down the best in San Diego, California! Yes, I’m saying that right now with my local guide badge powers!! This burrito will satisfy all your hippie and vegan cravings. It has no sour cream, no cheese- just awesome caramelized and grilled vegetables with potatoes, guacamole, and salsa Fresca!! It will send your mouth on a Mexican flavor trip! Seeing how it’s spooky season, I’d like to mention the creative use of the Covid caution tape tables as part of their Halloween decorations! Anyways come down here and support Omar and Juan at this local food establishment and give them some love!”

“I’ve been on the hunt recently for a good San Diego Poke bowl. After a recent disappointment where I tossed half my bowl, I wanted to redeem the search! This place is simple. They have a set menu of poke bowl options, so I chose traditional. The poke was fresh (tho diced a bit large for my taste). The avocado was good (but had some brown spots). It also came with seaweed salad (yummy). But...no sauce at all! Is this usual? My friend and I got one small container of soy sauce for both of us and three siracha packets to share. It was a good, fresh poke bowl— but a little too simple. I prefer to have a few more toppings and the fish a bit more bite sized.”
