“My husband and I just moved in a little over a month ago from DC. The amenities are almost as great as the location! We chose this area because the crime is so low. I also think the solar panels are a really nice touch that help save on your electricity bill! The price for our two bedroom was very fair considering it is completely updated with all new appliances. It is a smaller apartment complex so you get to know your neighbors and the staff, who are extremely helpful! We highly recommend these apartments!”

“Quite possibly the best spicy ramen I've had. Their service is kinda slow, but this can be improved, and they were very friendly. I would definitely recommend it and would take people here.”

“Happened to be driving by and saw them open on a Saturday. I got the Cheese uthappam. So delicious. A delicious cheese covered pancake like bread with 3 different sauces to dip. A little spicy for me, but I loved the green sauce the most. It also came with a small bowl/side of veggie soup which was also really good. I'll be checking them out again for sure.”

“Had the pleasure of dining at Nick's on Sunday with my girlfriend, what a treat. Never heard of the place prior, we tried 3 different items and all were creative and bursting with flavor. Presentation and service was impeccable. Will definitely be back numerous times, hope it will be the same. Kudos....”

“It's really a pop-up located inside International Smoke. Visit tokyohotchicken.com to place your order. Do NOT expect asian style fried chicken. The coater is definitely thicker & cruncher. I was pleasantly surprised that the thighs were processed so it only had 1 bone. Drums though were overcooked & dry for my taste. The "buckets" come with kimchi style slaw & rice. The rice was the stat of the show. Very well cooked & almost sushi quality. Come give this place a try. Sorry no photos, too hungry :D”

“We joined this yacht club after meeting some of the wonderful people that are members. The building is brand new and beautiful. They have new docks, a new bar and galley, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. SGYC has the best view from any yacht cub in San Diego, and the location is easy and central if you are a Point Loma resident.”

“I've been here 3 times already! Great authentic Mexican restaurant, locals visit this place often. Lots of seating including a nice sized patio. Lots of seafood offered, carnitas look amazing and huge drinks. So far I've enjoyed each visit and the food has been delicious. Table service is good; only order at the cashier if you are taking food "to go". This place is legit! No tourist, no hipsters just great Mexican food that the locals enjoy.”

“WOW!! It’s hard to choose among all the great Mexican spots around SD, but this one stood out from the picture of their Birria tacos on IG. I went and got two orders the next day with my wife and asked the guy how long they’d been open and he told me they opened in February which is RIGHT before the pandemic hit. I asked him if they were able to stay afloat during these times and he said it’s been very difficult. I made sure to tip him on what smelled to surely be a scrumptious meal. When we got home we were pleasantly surprised to see the plating to be just like the photo. But the taste... Look, my wife is not hard to please when it comes to food but it takes a lot for her to repeatedly comment on a meal throughout its entirety. These tacos were A-MA-ZING from beginning to end, even after a 20 min car ride home. The meat was succulent and tender, the cheese was melted between the two corn tortillas, but it was the hot consummé (after 30 sec in the microwave) to dip was the star of the meal: a perfectly seasoned mesh between broth and brine created after a well-thought and -timed braising of the barbacoa. The meal was an absolute smash hit. I wish I could give them 6 stars and will certainly be back to help support this local restaurant during these f*%&ed up times. In finality, here’s a REALLY hot take: these tacos were the best Mexican food I’ve had in San Diego. Hands down. God bless America.”

“Honestly the best avocado toast under $10 you're going to find in all of California (only $6.50! What?!). The detox juice was perfect: well-balanced, fresh, healthy, and not so "green" that I felt like I was drinking a salad. Kind staff, cute decor, good vibes; a perfect place to start your day.”
