“As you probably already know I’m an explorer, well, in flavors too, and finding Taste of Denmark brought so much delicious taste to my journey. This family owned business is the cutest place. Small tables and comes this sweet Danish young lady and explain all they created and have to offer for you. Portions are nice. She also prepared fresh juice and one blend with beet that was super.”

“It's a small, quaint little hole-in-the-wall place with amazing food and attentive, friendly staff with very thick French accents. The parpelle crepe I had was simple and delicious with homemade whipped cream so delicate and delicious that I felt like the crepe was a side for the true meal which was the cream. Well done! I will be back”

“Low prices and some of the best Mexican food in San Diego. I always stop by for a bite if I am in the area. Their rolled tacos and Chile relleno are my favorite dishes but I’ve never had anything less than delicious from their menu.”

“We ran across this restaurant while searching for art supply stores. The Mexican recipes were authentic and very delicious. We shared the steak burrito with a side of rice and beans. Each food item had a special something in it to distinguish itself from other Mexican restaurants. The owner made guacamole at the table. Yum!! We will come back to this restaurant again when we are in the San Diego area.”

“Grand Ole Bbq was the first north park business to be closed during the 2020 corona pandemic. If the choice is between savoury smoked ribs, and life itself; I choose life, pining after the brisket and peruvian white beans that once sat heavy in a stomach coated with spicy sauce. Critics will say GOB was already closed, and had been for over a year. What crotchety naysayers! Regardless of reason, pro-community practices of social distancing and responsible business closure must be rewarded.”

“Awesome place. We came here and start with some cocktails at the bar. Zach was the bartender, and he is awesome. They have a very good selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. The dinner menu is great and very inexpensive. You cook your own dinner!!! And again, if you eat at the bar Zach is the best one to help you. Fun place to come and know the locals.”

“UPGRADED TO FIVE STARS, with pleasure!!! Since my last review, almost 5 months ago, which I detailed my reasoning for 3 Stars, I have returned to Vistal twice more. Both experiences were most positive, and nothing at all like what I experienced during last summer. Reception greeting by Reyna at the host stand was warm and genuine, and heightened my positive expectations for the evening ahead. Service by Brittany was most attentive, helpful and professional, without being over-bearing. And of course, the food was delicious, as I had experienced and commented on in the past. These last two positive experiences, and the positive reactions by my dinner companions, have me looking forward to return.”

“We went for their opening because my boyfriend and I both got a free roll coupon. It was quiet and small but the restaurant is very nice and clean. We liked the atmosphere and everyone there was friendly and accommodating. They explained the menu very well and answered questions. Everything we ate was so good! Starting with the vegan dumplings and then we got four of the sushi rolls which were all great. Some of them came with tofu/mushrooms while others had “no shrimp” or “no crab” and they wouldn’t tell us exactly what was in it. It definitely had the same texture as the real thing! We will definitely be going back!”

“I went to Garibaldi for a birthday celebration during the pandemic. Right from the beginning, parking is really easy to find as it’s inside Intercontinental hotel. The hostesses greeted us very warmly and showed us our table. Our server David was very knowledge and all the recommendations were highly liked. Started with Tuna crudo, the fish was very fresh and well seasoned and just bomb of flavors. We ordered it twice just because we couldn’t get enough of it. Then we ordered cauliflower with pine nuts and olive base sauce, Clams and for entree, we had Spaghetti with Crab urchin butter. Food was highly liked by us, impeccable service, great ambiance, music and great sunset and ocean views. All in all, I would love to give 10 stars if I can. Highly recommend!!!! Will visit soon for sunset as we missed it this time!!”
