It's Tabu Sushi

I love this sushi restaurant! The food and the cocktails are fresh, well crafted, and tasty. The staff are welcoming and patient. The restaurant has great atmosphere and they play sports on their flat screen TVs. Lastly, they have great selection on drinks (beers,sake, and cocktails).

The Calamari was excellent! Happy hour prices daily from 4-7pm. Our server Kaylee was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. She's the best ever! The overall experience was certainly a treasure...

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. We will be back! I loved the Ramen and our sushi was very fresh.

The sushi is of good quality here and service is decent. The staff has always been friendly but on 3 different visits has forgotten to come back with requests (water refill, fresh wasabi and another ordered roll) In each case I had to remind the server before getting service. Sort of odd. Outside of this the biggest issue I have with this restaurant is the noise. It's location close to the university draws students and it has a very "sports bar" feel to it and on nearly every occasion that I've been there it was virtually impossible to have a conversation due to the screaming from other patrons. It does come down to what you are looking for. If you want a frat house/sports bar place with good sushi this is great. If you want a dinner with family or on a date and want to talk at all this probably isn't the place to do it. It's just too dang loud most of the time. This may be the atmosphere they were shooting for but it's a turnoff to me and not the sort of environment I seek out when looking for a good meal.
