Sublime Ale House

Consistently great service at the bar. They make good recommendations on beer and food. It never feels packed here but it does get busy. Appetizers and sandwiches are good. Update: always wonderful service!

I've talked up Sublime over the last several years: fantastic beer list, great vibe and decor, and the long tables with open seating are fun with big group. Bar staff know plenty about their beers and service is friendly. Historically the food has been on par with the better gastropubs in the area, however this last visit seemed like there was no attention given to my food. Ordered an old favorite (pork, brie, and apricot grilled cheese) and the pork was shoved to one end, the apricot spread to the other. Even the fries were stale. I love this place enough to give it another go (hoping this was just an off night) but unless the food comes through better I can't say I'll be motivated to return again.

I recently reviewed this place as 3 star. I am editing my review on a case of mistaken identity. The burger with all of the caramelized onions on it is on point. Big fan of onions, big fan of this burger. The only reason I will not give 5 stars is the decor and "ambiance". There isn't any and it is very bland. Only a personal preference though. You have my 5-star meal Sublime! I am sorry about the mistake in identity of locations!

Sublime Alehouse has 50 taps, and a great beer list (especially if you like barrel aged (BA) beer like me!). The owner loves BA Beer, and is a chef. The employees are great, and the food is good (especially the wings and the pizza). I love the BA beer and the Bourbon wings!!!

Great food and beer list. The bottle list is ridiculous. If you like comfort food you will love their menu. Grilled cheese sandwiches are some of the best I have ever had and the Get Figgy With It pizza is awesome.
