Money Pit

Greatest secret in San Diego county. Everything is made with such care and perfection. It's like getting really amazing food from a high end sports bar, but a fraction on the price. Love this place! Oh yeah, call ahead and pick up, the drive through gets a little backed up. That's ok when you realize everything is getting made to order.

Money Pit is a great place to eat. I have not had a bad meal you. Nice and friendly staff. Good place for the locals that taste great and not very expensive. Be ready to wait if it a Friday or Saturday night the place gets packed.

Large menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner foods. The Greek wrap is very good. The turkey avocado is straightforward. The salad is huge and shareable. Fresh ingredients all around. Efficient staff. Drive thru gets very busy at peak meal times.

Great cheap spot for good food. Service is fast, chili cheese fries are not oily, which is nice. Shakes are pretty thick, so be prepared. The tables and decor are very unique. The tables have various currencies inside glass or resin covers, and there's a cool old bank vault right in the middle of the restaurant. I live down south, but definitely make the trek to come up and visit a few times a year.
