Filippi's Pizza Grotto Santee

It's a cute and charming. I ordered the Linguine clam sauce dish, at the time it sounded delicious because clams were supposed to be cooked in white wine, butter, and garlic... yum right? It sounds like a great combo, right? Well when I got it, it was watery and lacked flavor. Adding a little salt and parmesan cheese helped, but not much. Sadly, that dish was the reason I had returned. I do remember it being tastier. ???? The Spaghetti and chicken parmigiana was delicious and my son enjoyed very much. Their bread was warm, soft and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would still go back and stick to the tomato sauce dishes. ????

I ordered the half order of Lasagna. It was very good, except I wish the dish was hotter. I think it had been sitting in the window for a few, because the only hot part was the center of the lasagna. Someone else at my table ordered the same thing and said hers was cold on the edges as well. Service was great tho! Would go back and try their pizza next time I'm in town.

Absolutely incredible. The food the atmosphere just fantastic. My goddaughter her friend her dad and myself had a thoroughly awesome experience. The menu is quite extensive and all of it is delicious.

Been here at least 5 times and every time my food is hot, perfect, and delicious! The Lasagna is to die for, and trust me, if you get it Baked, you get more cheese and it’s making my mouth water just thinking about it. Good good stuff there! Friendly service, fast too. Highly recommend. Will be back!

I usually like coming to this place , the food is good with big portions and decent pricing. This visit I had to deal with a dirty table I was seated at and waiters that didn't know what they were doing. it's fine if you're going to employ young adults but you should supervise them more to make sure they're doing what they need to be doing.
