Oaks Tavern and Kitchen

Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Patio furniture is uncomfortable and be warned of getting mosquito bites in the evening. Fountain drinks (coke zero) tasted like plastic tubing... 5 star service. 5 star food. 3 star atmosphere.

The service was superb and the food is phenomenal with very unique flavors that you will not find anywhere else. I will definitely be going back!

The food and atmosphere are perfectly located just in front of the new park. The food quality is excellent with homemade recipes, the service is terrific and the beer and wine select great. My first two experiences were sitting at the bar with Georgia tending bar and she made the experience very enjoyable and complimentary to the food quality. All the staff are nice and share a great positive service attitude. Santee needs more places here like Oaks Tavern and Kitchen as well as Janet's Cafe next door. I hope the trend to develop places like this locally continues.

We have been going here since they opened, we feel that the food was much better the first couple weeks they were open, now the quality of the food has dropped significantly. The last 3 times we have been the food had no taste to it , was poorly made and not worth the money they charge. However the service and servers are great and nice people. They do have a good selection of beer and wine but need to work on the food quality.

Dinner was delicious! A menu full of variety. Everything we tried was pleasing to the palate. Bleu Cheese Burger, Mango Habanero Chicken Sandwich, Carne Asada Tacos, Chicken Enchiladas with Mole Sauce, Pepperocini Poppers, Bruschetta #1, and Calamari. All would be ordered again.
