    Very friendly staff, lovely old fashioned decor. Plentiful portions on food, but nothing special re taste.

    The lobster bisque was phenomenal, and I've had it in Rhode Island, Monterey, and around here. Hands down the best. I can't wait to try other menu items.

    Strong pours...BIG portions...and a bartender named Jimmy (who has his own bar at the front of the house during Track Season) that keeps you comin back! Hang with the "Regulars" before 7pm daily...late night offers great "people watching" (especially during Track Season) from colorful to classy...and a piano man to boot! Old school Steakhouse with big leather banquettes. PS Give yourself min 5min for your eyes to adjust to the low lighting! Everyone looks good here because of it!

    Have been here many times and have enjoyed great meals. Tonight the lobster tail was hugely disappointing. The restaurant took the lobster off our bill so that was well done. Salads were great, the baked potato was terrific and I enjoyed my end cut prime rib. Service was great........

    Old school joint with dark wood and classic decor. The lobster bisque is truly tasty. The prime rib is wonderful and cooked exactly as you ordered it.

    If you haven't visited Red Tractons, then you've missed out on a unique classic dining experience of San Diego.
