Food is delicious fun and funny staff

For years this place has been providing decent Mexican food and the people there are very friendly only reason why I don't give it a five is there hot sauce is not hot enough for me , I love it hot!

The carne asada is what makes this taco shop stand out among several shops vying for the Casa crowds at lunchtime. I stroll in around eleven before the rush hits and order the carne asada supreme tostada. I'm always greeted by familiar faces ready to take my order. I do believe the same gentlemen working there today were behind the counter back in 86 when me and my gang would take over the tiny restaurant after school every day. Back to the carne, never tough never and I swear never fatty, always prepared in such a way that each bite is the perfect porportion of carne. Not some enormous hunk of hide you have to endlessly naw on. The tostada is easily enough for two and most days that's what I do, I split it with my dad. Casa de Oro is lucky enough to have lots of taco shop choices but if I found myself having to vote on the best it would go to these guys.

My favorite local taco shop in town. Good portions and quality ingredients are a major factor in why I have been going there for over a decade.

Very nice and fast service and restaurant is always really clean where everyone sits, they probably have the best rolled tacos I've had here in San Diego in a long time
