Delicious pizza, good environment to watch sports or have after game Pizza

We are locals who enjoy a good pizza from time to time and we always end up at Lamppost in downtown Vista. Pizza is always fresh, I love their salad and their service has always been great. Those are the reasons why we picked Lamppost for my daughters birthday party. I called 2 weeks in advance and reserved tables, and they were ready when I got there. They were so accommodating and let me put table cloths, have lots of balloons, extra table for the cake and pretty much take up half the restaurant. Service was amazing, staff checked on us often to see if we needed anything, it was a great party! I highly recommend this restaurant and it's great to have parties there too! I'd love to have our future parties here too!

Excellent beer. Best pizza in world! I have been eating lamppost since I was a kid. Still best pizza for 40 years! I come here every year on my birthday and love it!

11/2/18 - Another year! Still happy!

A dingy pizza and beer place, there's quite a lot of seating inside, but is in need of vast appearance upkeep. You order at the counter and then sit somewhere, with the food brought to you. Staff was okay and accommodating.

There are customizable and specialty pizzas. I decided on the pesto supreme, which is a vegetarian pizza with pesto, tomato, artichoke, mushroom, garlic. An individual size is available, and should be able to feed one person. The pizza has a good portion of toppings. The crust is just okay, it's on the thicker side, but for me seems to be different than standard crusts elsewhere. It's not bad, just slightly different.

Overall, it's fine for a freshly made pizza.
