Happi Spatula, Vista CA

Didn't know this place was open until my boyfriend and I walked up! The market side of it is super cute and had a lot of good options. We also had their fried rice lunch special. Super yummy and if you get the lunch special, it's a bang for your buck! The staff was super sweet and for a soft opening, it was amazing! 5/5 Can't wait to see it once it's fully open.

Sue is truly one of the best local Thai chefs anywhere. We followed her from her humble beginnings to her new location on Business Park drive

So excited to see this unique concept come to Vista. We came during their soft opening and we’re pleased to find an International market, Thai food, and coffee! Wanda and Sochi were so friendly. We loved our food and coffee and I was able to restock on some Asian pantry items. Looking forward to seeing the concept come together.

Pleasantly surprised.

It was my first time visiting, what is clearly a newly opened Thai restaurant. Which does feature a little store with a small variety of fresh vegetables etc.

And I’m fairly happy, the food was fresh and flavourful. It did lack a little spice level (despite asking for 8/10 it had next to no spice) however beyond that, it was good.

All menus are electronic, do note their is a lunch special at $10 between 11am-3pm.

I did however note, the starters were a little over priced (spring rolls at $8, that’s pushing it) And the waiting service a little fresh, however given their relatively positive attitude, that should fix itself in time.

Well worth a try, the outside eating area was pleasant.
