La Banana Fruits

My wife and I had to stop in when we saw they offered the perfect resolution to a craving. My wife being from Mexicali introduced me to mexican snacks and drinks. She got me hooked but it's been difficult to find somewhere that provides quality that satisfies someone who grew up on them in Mexico and someone new to the flavors. This is the spot. An oasis of carefully considered flavors and textures in a desert of mediocrity. We will continue to support this location regularly and look forward to it's development.

They're inside the chevron, they serve some of the best shakes ever, and they have really good fruit salads as well. My personal recommendation is the El Bionicoso fruit salad.

I am in the process of devouring down a Bionicoso! It's like a fruit salad with a sweet dressing topped with all the crunchy goodies.. People make your way to this new place so it stays open and I can keep going to get my sweet fix.... Yum!
