MADERA KITCHEN OF MEXICO

Edit: Me and a guest came for breakfast on a Sunday. Chips and salsa are not offered. The service was slow. Our entree wasn't hot enough when served. They did bring a brand new hot plate of food, which was great! 👍 I'm sure they will adjust. This is a fairly new restaurant. 🙂

The decor is nice.

I thought it was a nice touch that refried black beans (is what it looked like, but unsure) were served with chips and salsa upon being seated. They beans and salsa were a bit too bland, therefore were not the best compliment to the type of tortilla chips that were served. Perhaps all that was missing was a little salt?

Our meal was beautifully presented (photo included).There is an extensive wine list offered. I ordered a margarita. It was good, but not worth $10.
The enchiladas me and my guest ordered were good. Short rib meat is offered as a meat option, and is delicious, as was the chicken enchiladas! However the beans and rice were only okay.

I also didn't care much for the seating. Its wide open to accommodate the most guests, but not much privacy for the guests while eating. We felt like we were almost sharing a table with the party seated next to us.

It was a good dinner all in all. We may try this restaurant for breakfast. 👍

The entire restaurant is an experience! The food is amazing, ordered the green salsa with pork, comes with an order of rice. The music is the sound of la gente! The wine collection is amazing and extensive. It's a must to come here when visiting Vista, CA!

Will be returning very soon.

Saturday Morning Jan 8th we tried this restaurant food was great, the restaurant is very nice. It was a nice morning so we sat on patio. The only thing disappointing was they forgot to give or offer sugar and cream. for our coffee, no silverware or napkins we had to ask, and had to ask for hot sauce. Not sure if there was new staff, but hope that changes because enjoyed the food n atmosphere.

We were going to go to a bigger chain type Mexican restaurant and for some reason they were closed for lunch on Sunday so we looked up Mexican restaurants nearby. I am so glad we did! This place has indoor/outdoor dining, a nice ambiance, a great selection of items for brunch or lunch at noon, and the wait staff was fantastic! Our first time here but definitely not our last!

Love this new place!! So grateful they are so close to home. Everytime we go we have ordered something different and their food is authentic Mexican food and tastes amazing!! All that greatness and add a little wine tasting weekly that is world wide presentation not just locally, makes it all the better!! Thank you Madera Kitchen for making date night an experience like we went off on vacation without really leaving home!!
