Great stop, cold beer, good selection, great service

Garage 79 is a great little spot to grab beer and enjoy the view of Palomar Mountain. There is primarily outdoor seating with several seats at the bar. It has a retro gas station theme. They play classic rock vinyl records, have two quarter operated arcade games and a foosball table. There are about 6 craft beers on tap and there are two refrigerators full of a variety of canned and bottled craft beers. They also have some cans and bottles of soft drinks. For food it appears they have regular food vendors in addition to having local made jerky and small bags of chips for sale

A really relaxing place to chill with friends and family, Omar the owner is really cool and friendly, delicious food my favorite bar up in the country for sure!!!

Perfect spot for a beer. Bartenders are super friendly and the taco stand outside has great food to complement the great beer selection inside. Little oasis on 79. Omar will give you a free beer if you beat him in foosball.

This has quickly become our favorite destination in a many mile radius. I moved out to California from NYC and this feels a small oasis transported from Brooklyn to a small valley in Southern California.

The beer is exceptional and the variety sufficient to ensure any beer lover can find what the desire.

The location borders on sublime. Sunsets are beautiful with a direct view down valley. Mount Palomar looms above always playing a pleasant dynamic with where you find yourself.

Food is exceptional on Friday’s and Saturdays with occasional options on Sunday. A foosball table and a classic street fighter arcade game await.
