Hands down the best sushi place in San Francisco.
Great service and amazing quality that doesn't break the bank.
Highly recommend in addition to the sushi the lamb chops. They are fantastic.
Amazing as always! We waited an hour and 40 minutes but it's worth the wait. We were seated at the sushi bar and all the sushi chefs are great. Great to see the owner and his son behind the bar to make sushi and do quality checks.
Always the freshest ingredients. Hard to find an authentic Japanese restaurant that's owned and run by Japanese people.
When they forget to sear your salmon, it goes back to the kitchen and they also accidentally sear the Uni. Simply disgusting! Top it off with an uneducated waiter with a single resolution to the issue, "what do you want me to do?". I could had told her to eat the order, my treat! Not worth it. Asking for the $180 bill was a task left for its ability to provide service.
There was a point many years ago where the food quality and service were superb. Times have changed and this place is in a downfall.
Another visit that left much dissapointment. Try at your own risk. YMMV
Fresh and oh so delicious melt in your mouth fish! About a 5 minute wait to sit at the sushi bar for 1 at lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was very busy. Quick and friendly service from the sushi chef. Complimentary tea if you ask for it. Probably won’t go back routinely for lunch since the bill was 29$ but looking forward to going back as a date night or special treat.
Stopped by for lunch after visiting the nearby Park and Tea Garden. Wait was only about ten minutes. Service was not great but luckily the food was better. The chicken donburi was tasty. Sushi tasted bright and fresh but a bit have on the rice. Busy atmosphere in this small neighborhood restaurant.
