Tender Greens

This location gets very busy during the 12-1pm lunch hour. The menu includes salads, sandwiches, and a few hot dishes. The food was decent and probably about 4 stars. The service was average. Don’t expect much interaction or upselling.

My Southwest salad had some delicious chicken on top. But the salad itself was bland. And the tortilla strips were way too big.

Quality food served. In many ways it reminded me of Panera Bread which wasn't too far from it. But the salads were sauced and tossed perfectly. Just FYI when you eat there. The silverware is hidden away. Plastic spoons are readily available at the paying counter and might break in your hand. The lines at this place are long and move quick.

Great place to get a healthy meal before going to AT&T Park. I've eaten numerous times at Tender Greens in Walnut Creek. Each time was a great experience. Having this restaurant within walking distance to AT&T Park is great so that you don't have to eat ballpark food. You will save money, and eat something healthy.

Great food, fast cooking, but it was too spicy for me.

Update: that's a first time I see response to a review, so thumbs up for that! Next time I'll ask in advance if it meant to be spicy.

I like the place in general, it's location is convenient, it's nice and clean there. I saw some people work or do meetings there, so definitely check out this place.
