Trailblazer Tavern

I lived in Hawaii for 6 years and Trailblazer Tavern makes the best poke I have ever tasted in my life. Simply the best. We ate here with a few friends that were in town . They actually chose the restaurant. The atmosphere was very clean and open. The server was very attentive and the table never had empty plated left around. A busser swoops in and clears the plates very efficiently. We we're recommended a bottle of white wine. We weren't told the price when they brought it over. We we're worried we just bought a $300 bottle of wine but that wasn't the case. It was reasonably showing that they cared more about our experience the. Jacking up the bill. If you go here you must have the shaved ice dessert, we were running late for our next event, but I wasn't leaving until I got to finish that shaved ice dessert. I highly recommend eating at the Trailblazer Tavern get your Hawaiian food fix!!

This place was such a pleasant surprise!!! Had a wide range of dishes and apps that were all fantastic!! Don't let the stripmall vibe fool you outside the bar area. It is amazing food, very original and unlike no other Hawaiian place in the bay area. (Pics of awesome desserts!)

Interesting ambiance. Servers were cheerful and seemed knowledgeable, but they forgot a dish and mixed up the plates. Food was good. Colleagues recommended the cocktails. Probably wouldn't go back if I'm paying but it was good for work lunch.

The French fries tasted like McDonald. I also had the Tavern double double burger that tasted like a salty in n out burger. The drinks had a lot of ice and could barely taste any alcohol. I loved the overall theme and ambiance of the place. Service was pretty spotty with hardly and service at times and took awhile to pay our bill.

Enjoyed the food and the company of our friends. Also really liked the bar with great cocktails and a nice selection of wines by the glass. But the service in the dining room was poor. Waiters interrupting constantly, trying to take away food way before it's finished and treating guests fairly poorly.

Would recommend for a drink.
