First time here & ordered lunch special (Mandalay chicken & Burmese noodle) & regular dishes (ginger salad & Burmese style curry with prawn). Everything tasted delicious & seasoning right on spot, not too salty, sweet, etc. Pretty impressed with the ginger salad. Will definitely be back if around the area. Price is reasonable with great customer service.
why go to the hypebeast other Burmese restaurant with a wild wait time and generic decor, when you could go here. what character this place has! stimulates all your senses!!!
Wow!! This has got to be the best Burmese cuisine around! I’ve been here about 5x already and let me tell you, every dish I ordered was consistent. The staff were always wonderful. Every dish they have on the menu has been my favorite! Loooove this place. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. The only thing that sucks is parking...but you know what they say, good things happen to people who wait...it’s so worth it!
Mandalay has earned a number of accolades. It continues to deserve its hard earned reputation. Go with a group and share so that you can experience the terrific flavors of more of Mandalay's subperb Burmese dishes. Very attentive servers. As we were leaving one of the staff entered the dining room to thank us for dining at the restaurant. Thank you Mandalay for a great meal and a very nice dining experience.
Great food in a nice cozy restaurant.
Probably hard to fit more than 6 people, so if you have a big party keep that in mind.
Additionally, if you ask for hot tea they'll give you a fancy jasmine tea that costs a couple of dollars (not a bad thing, just didn't expect that - expected a regular tea pot and cups like other Asian restaurants)
