Yummy vegetarian (perhaps) vegan dumplings. I enjoyed them at the Fort Mason Farmer's market. They are reasonably priced at 9 dollars per order. I paired the dumplings with fresh orange juice bought from the farmer's market @ $4. It was a perfect meal for $15 with a small tip!

The ladies are friendly and hard-working! I would definitely go back.

We stopped by the lovely ladies at Happy Dumpling when walking out of the Good Food Awards Marketplace/regular Sunday Farmers Market at Fort Mason. They only had chicken dumplings yet and were selling them for 5 for $9. Awesome deal. Unfortunately, cash only (and we had none). We must have looked sad, because she gave us a container of 5 and said come back again! THEY WERE THE BEST DUMPLINGS. Very flavorful, medium to lighter on the filling, but cocooned in the best dumpling wrap. More of a lighter bread than wonton wrapper/noodle casing, but still pan-fried for crispiness. A different kind of dumpling, but so delicious! Because of the "bread-y" outside, these dumplings are more filling than your average. Recommend using both the soy sauce and a little of the vinegar. Wish I had pictures, but we ate them too fast. Go try them for yourself!

Happy Dumplings can be better, but they choose to make it profitable by doing 25/75 Meaning 25 percent protein and percent fillers usually shredded mixed veggies. Silver lining is that they make them fresh on-site per order. Service is quick and efficient once you pay, you'll just have to grab condiment cup and select what dipping sauce that's appropriate. My pork dumplings were tasty with a slight crispy bottom, but well-rounded to consume in a few bites. Thinks of it as a snack than a actual meal. If I had to eat something with them being around, I would certainly try it. This three pieces was (OTH) so I can't say more.

The brunch I had in the Marina did not hold me over for the walking I did at the Renegade Craft Festival at Fort Mason. Luckily, Happy Dumplings was at Farmers' Market, so I dropped by to see what they had.

They don't have a sign that stated what they had or the prices, so I had to eavesdrop and check Yelp for reviews to see what they possibly could have and the price range. Because customers had to ask what they had and the price, it took awhile to get to the front of the line.

That day, they had a 4 for $7 deal. They didn't have any shrimp dumplings, so I got 2 pork and 2 chicken. The pork was okay, but I really enjoyed the chicken.

I agree with the other reviews that the dough is very thick! But they didn't skimp on the meat, so I was fine with that.

I wouldn't go out of my way to Fort Mason to get dumplings (as they are there for Farmers' Market). But if I happen to be in the area, I would get some. And hopefully they will have shrimp that time.
