Where to begin: ah, the service! The people here treated my friend and me as if they knew us or were regulars... Awesome and friendly! The food? Christ, so yummy and delicious. Southern comfort food... Have to come here when hungover for sure! ???? Oh, and guys, the mimosas- impressed with the size.

Great food. I had the trout and it is delicious. Solid sides. Had the beignets for dessert which were good but definitely much heavier than a New Orleans beignet

Brenda’s Meat & Three enticed me with their blues music but made me sit down with their menu. Similar to the other place, you can get hearty breakfast fare, American style lunches and plenty of beverages to choose from to wash down the great food. Today I tried the house made Watermelon Sweet Tea with Brenda’s Fried Chicken. The tea was sweeter than my usual but complimented the spicy chicken well. The spicy fried chicken had a nice kick that did not overwhelm the tender chicken meat. My plate had 1 wing and 1 breast piece. The humble decor and friendly staff made the whole experience a delight. I highly recommend this neighborhood cafe!

It's been years since I've been here but it seems that it has gotten even better. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable. And this day, the food was on point. We got the Johnny Cakes, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and some beignets. Lots of flavor, great texture, cozy space. And when we went, there were no lines!!!

This was a pleasant surprise to stop in on. The fried chicken is exactly how chicken should be fried, crispy AF on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside. Got a shrimp po boy to share (portion sizes are great!) And a local beer in tap. Wish the beer selection was bigger but over all an awesome place! Music and ambience was food, staff was super nice.
