Osteria Bella

Just a genuine Italian place with cured meats and great appetizers. Service was great. Very different from their sister restaurant next door called Bella. This is a more Mediterranean Italian restaurant so if you’re looking for fettuccini or penne, you’re in the wrong spot.

The food is mediocre, but the service is horrible.
Our waitress was visibly annoyed when we asked about "Today's Special" (as it appears on the menu). She rolled her eyes, sighed and complained that she was not given the information regarding the specials from the owner and she will call him to explain. We struggled to get her attention during most of the dinner, even though the place was mostly empty. When we got attention - She was very short tempered with our questions. When it was time for desserts, we asked a few questions as we wanted to consult which ones are recommended - Later, we got the desserts we have ordered plus those we've asked about. When we explained that we didn't order all of them, we were told "just eat it, no worries" - And we were charged for it.
The owner (or I think he was the owner) was trying really hard to compensate for his waitress, but it always came back to her eventually, and we were not enjoying our time in this place.
I don't like giving low scores as eventually, this is someone's livelihood. However, in this case, you are probably better spending your money in a different Italian restaurant. There are way better ones in the city.

Amazing selection of rotating beers for the hop heads, great ambiance. A great place to eat or just have drinks with some conversation. Private room on the side as well. Great space.
