BURMA GOLD

It’s a new Burmese place close to my office so wanted to give it a try. Went for lunch and had the veggie soup which was full of fresh veggies and rich in flavor. My friend tried the fixed price menu and loved everything. Tried the Burmese tea and it was amazing.

Give this place a try and you’ll love it.

First time trying Burmese food - it was amazing! We were grateful they were able to adapt the set menu for us so that it was vegetarian. All of the dishes were amazing, but really loved the tea leaf salad and samosa salad. Outstanding value too. Will be back again.

Pre fixe lamb dinner was amazing during soft opening. Tea salad was the best! Definitely would go back.

We really enjoyed the opening tasting menu that Burma Gold served. A four course meal - tea leaf salad, a curry noodle soup, samosa, and delicious chicken and oxtail with rice and roti - with tea or wine for $25. Everything was flavorful without being spicy and authentic. I especially enjoyed the oxtail! Service was lovely and the atmosphere was nice, although the restaurant was cold the day we went (might still be waiting on a heating system!).
