Mac Daddy

I don’t often write reviews because I’m lazy but this place deserves to be reviewed. Amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. A tiny, hole-in-the-wall shop that has as much heart as it has cheese. Every single person working there took the time to check in with us and make sure we were enjoying our meal which, how could we not enjoy it, was AMAZING. So yummy. Reasonably priced. And I’m gluten-intolerant and every one of their mac’n’cheeses can be made gluten-free with really yummy and light GF pasta. This place is my heaven. I wish I lived in SF so I could hang out at Mac Daddy’s all the time.

I got the truffle mac and my boyfriend got the short rib mac, and we split the grilled asparagus and kale salad. Everything was great! Especially the short rib, it was very tender and flavorful. It's a great spot for a date night, would not recommend bringing a group of more than 4 as the seating is quite limited. But still, a fun place to check out if you're in the area.

Went there for breakfast this morning with a friend and the place was AMAZING. Great service! Their potatoes were really delicious and the lemon ricotta pancake was delightful.

Great experience! Went with five people and we were lucky to get a seat at the bar. Every dish I tasted was very good (I had the pesto mac). I wish I lived in SF so I could go here more often!

The staff is super kind. I ordered the pizza mac and added mushrooms. 100% recommend, and I would 100% come again. The space is small, but that didn’t bother me. (In fact I thought it was perfect & went with the overall vibe.) The 80’s music playing in the background was the icing on the cake. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by!
