Good pastrami sandwich

Much more than a sandwich shop! If you balk at buying meat or fish at Safeway or Grocery Outlet (as I do), you should check this place out. Substantially better quality meats, and a great little produce and grocery store next door.

Amy makes the best sandwich in sf. Hot pastrami is my favorite...there is none better. And I have tried them all.

Great sandwiches! Friendly people working here. Not a lot of seating, but great for a quick bite. They mainly sell meat and have lots of fresh options.

This is where I get seafood and meats when I'm in San Francisco.

What I like getting from here: Wild Pacific Salmon, Rosie's chicken (air chilled so it has a funny-looking exterior, but less prone to spoilage like the stuff sold in supermarkets sitting in raw juices), fresh shrimp and various white flesh fish.  I tried getting a New York steak, but I wasn't too fond of it (if you're a steak lover, get aged beef from a different source).

Seafood and poultry prices are reasonable and quality is always fresh. Haven't tried the sandwiches, but they seem to be a popular draw locally.
