Good
Had a pork huarache there after shopping at Alemany farmer's market on a Saturday. It was my first time trying a huarache and I liked it. Somewhat reminded me of a papusa in terms of taste. Not much seating on the side, so prepare to take to go.
I've been to both of El Huarache Loco's locations. The original food stand at Alemany Farmers Market is splendid. Having recently been to Mexico DF, I can say the food is legit. Huaraches literally mean "Sandals" and that's because they're shaped like them. I dig the Alambre and a Huarache con Al Pastor versions. Both are good! I can't wait to explore the menu more. The Marin County location in Larkspur is really slick. It's beautiful inside with tradition Mexico City decor. The salsa bar kicks everything up a notch!
Street food at its best. The mole enchiladas are worth making a trip.
