My experience there was good. It was a rainy Saturday morning & I went there for brunch. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. The food was good. I had the original eggs Benedict, the sauce could have had a little more flavor but overall good, I’d probably get it again. The scenery was beautiful, it wasn’t a busy Saturday morning so we had the place to ourselves at least it felt like that and It was very peaceful and calm.
A super nice change of scenery, overlooking the old shipyards that SF was once known for. The food, the drinks and the views were delicious. My Rock Burger was divine and the the Eggs Benedict looked sumptuous. Nearby construction (condos, office buildings and the new Warriors stadium) made parking a challenge. But, it's still a fantastic venue even if they no longer host weekend raves that put them on the map. ; )
Proved to be a comfortable, low-key, roomy spot for New Year's Eve dinner albeit expensive like the rest of SF. The service is attentive and flexible. The Louie is massive and filling. In what must have been a holiday special as it does not appear to be on the menu, their macaroni with crab was impressive, coming out in a sizzling cast iron skillet with plentiful cheese.
unique SF spot, been around for years. get in before the warriors come and it is mobbed all the time. swanky industrial space, right on the water. two levels. outdoor dining. sometimes dance floor. tasty food. oysters if that is your thing. full bar. what is open depends on the weather, how full they are, and what is going on at the time.
