Fog City

The FOOD was really good. The place is in a great location and it's warm and inviting. Prices are NOT unreasonable and the menu has variety from crafted burgers to steak. Salads are amazing and appear to use local sources produce. This is a great place for working professionals, tourists, and families with children. I recommend

Conveniently located bar and restaurant. Food is small portions but good. Beer menu has many bottle options but is lacking in tap options. The atmosphere is old fashioned diner style with a modern twist. The service is excellent. Overall, a great place to stop for a beer and a small meal after a visit to pier 39. I would give it 5 stars if the tap selection was bigger and the serving sizes was larger.

I had the "special" salmon tacos which are not on the menu but are worth ordering. They turned out great with roasted corn tortillas and a tomatillo sauce. The downside, of course, is the portions. This meal is simply three tacos with no sides for $16.

Again, nice place but don't expect to leave full!

Seen this place along the Embarcadero for years. It was used in the movie "So I Married an Axe Murderer". Finally tried it. Fantastic food! (Had the brisket and the pork chop). Very friendly server (thanks Brittney). Nice view of the bay. Nice atmosphere. Plan to come again.

(Seven months later.) Back in the city for some fun. Had to come back to Fog City. Wasn't disappointed. Food still great. Even had Brittney serve us again, and she did a great job (thanks Brittney!)

We were just walking by and stopped in! Was thoroughly impressed with the service and food! Salmon sandwich was delicious! Will remember this as a new staple for trips to the city!

I would have to agree with the some of the previous reviews that its not the same as it use to be. The last time I was here was about 15 years ago and I remember it being quite good then but had a different vibe. This time it upscale and very nice in the inside. I looks great and works. I went in there on a Sunday at 1PM and had the chance to have their brunch menu that was quite good. Off that menu I had the crab on toast with avocado that was seasoned very well. I would for sure have this again. The food is good here and fits the atmosphere that they have created. The service was on point and very pleasant. I would return here!
