It lives up to all the hype, and then some. Exquisite service and the best meal I've had in a long while. Creative use of ingredients make this place shine. The cocktails were amazing as well.
Absolutely loved this place! Much more seating than at the bakery location, and they have food and drinks. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the black beans with the crispy duck carnitas! And the drinks were delicious. Plus, they sell the breads and many of the pastries that they have at the shop. Overall, definitely recommend.
What a great restaurant and in a perfect spot of the Mission District. Amazing bakery from bread to pastries. The interior is industrious with modern accents. Very open space and you feel a little cramped but if you are waiting in line thinking “let me in!” They take your # and txt you when your table is ready, very cool. This place is packed with people. First time visit for coffee and snacks but I will be back.
Everything you may have read is true. This place is incredible. Get in early to get a loaf of the amazing country bread. Thick crunchy crust with a soft dense interior. Pastries that are incredible and tasty. Be warned..very popular (well deserved) place and when the items sell out that it's for the day. Worth a special trip!
The food is great, all the ingredients are carefully selected and combine. It’s new and old fashion at the same time. It’s simple but very tasty. The interior design is rustic, old factory meets modern equipment. The staff could be a little snarky, but I guess that means they know what they are doing.
