I was expecting the top quality of the fish given its rating and price range. But what a disappointment, the toro is not very fresh. Sushi rolls are so so, but again, the quality of the fish is just not impressive at all. The cooked food (beef soba, tara, shoyu ramen) is okay, but they are way too salty. Overall, this place is overrated, and made me expect something of Umi or Grubbies...
It’s delicious, fresh and staff is very friendly.
It’s worth coming but nothing was a huge wow factor. I’d come back but many other spots to try in SF.
One of my fav locations for tasty sushi. This place does it for me. I've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. It has a great feel to it.
A couple of friends and I were here last night. We had reservations, the place is cozy so did have to wait a little. But it was so worth it. I got the Salmon Skin roll plus assorted Nigiri and everything including the Uni (Which can be hit or miss) was really good. Solid experience.
Excellent quality food! They are a bit more on the classic side of things without too many 'modern interpretations' or 'strange but unique' flavor combination dishes. But very dependable, clean and delicious.
