(February 18, 2019, 9:56 pm)Amazing place with great food. I love places like this. It doesn’t look like a great restaurant but don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Food is awesome. The climat is fantastic. You can feel like in Asia. I was there twice and If I’ll back some day to San Francisco I’ll visit this place for sure!

Being a city guy (nyc, chi, etc.) I don't expect 5 star service with hustle and bustle shops but king of dumpling ranks highly low for even my tremendously low standards. 4 stars because I don't particularly mind (I almost understand -- it's super busy) but they take it a bit lower than low.
Still worth it for the fix. They have amazing shanghai soup dumplings and if you call in advance for take out it's usually 30 min which isn't too bad.
I wouldn't recommend dining in but they aren't awful -- just swamped.
Again, best dumplings in SF. Period.
