The RTP is my go-to restaurant for completely dependable culinary originality, unfailingly delicious and for its wonderfully welcoming, community-minded owner + staff. Even at its most "crowded" it feels simply cozy ... its frequently changing desserts are both culturally and (damnably) irresistible!

This place has a nice family feel. The staff is very friendly. They give chips and salsa while ordering. I got the Chili Verde which was packed with a lot of flavor. It comes with these hand made tortillas which pair very well with the chicken.

The owner waits the tables and is super nice. I don't even have to place an order as he knows my regular wants. I call the food gets Tex Mex which I am a huge fan of. If you like spicy salsa theirs will definitely give you a kick. The sleepy dog is always there chilling next to the register lol.

The very best Mexican food that I can remember growing up. They have been here an extremely long time. The only place that was as good as this one is long gone, it was called Johnson's Tamale Parlor. These two restaurants were very similar to each other. Both had the very best enchilada sauce I ever tasted. Very bold and very very good. I highly recommend this place
