Smashburger

Very good burgers and sweet potato fries. Very juicy burgers. Prices are a little higher than In-N-Out Burger but it was hard to get to an In-N-Out Burger in San Francisco. But sometimes I take the trip down 280 for inexpensive In-N-Out Burger experience.

The burgers and smash fries are awesome. They do have items that are Bay Area exclusive -- based on my previous Smashburger experience in East Coast. So look for those!

I've been coming to Smash Burger for quite a while. I pretty much stick with their classic burger or their Cobb salad with grilled chicken. I'm not much into goat cheese and cucumbers on my hamburgers. The staff is friendly. The manager with the crew cut is a bit gruff. He's all business. But everyone is personable.

I would put the Smashburger as a top tier burger. I really can't overstate the importance of smashing the burger down to increase the surface area crispiness.

In addition, the fries are excellent. I have a soft spot for any place that does a garlic fry.

Delicious salad and tater tots. I really liked the super tasty chicken that I added to my salad. The General Manager was very friendly and kind. He served us and cleared away our dishes. And the food was delicious. I would definitely come again!
