Best trip stop ever! There is a great playground and a dog park!
Very clean inside including the one stall bathroom. Staff was very friendly. Shakes were good especially the new Brownie Batter!!!
While they food is good, this place had a dog park and our dogs loved to play while we ate.
Great food and even greater service
Highly recommend this adorable restaurant and everything we had was scrumptious! Being gluten free and vegan I was ecstatic to find a delicious option for me on their regular menu of many impressive selections. We ordered the two appetizers that were vegan, a warm and perfectly seasoned bowl of edamame and a trio of perfectly pickled vegetables. Their vegan udon was loaded with carefully cooked fresh and super tasty veggies swimming in a delectable mushroom broth. Ordered their gastronomic delight of black garlic oil to top our bowls. (Definitely don’t miss that!). Their gluten free noodles are perfect in every way: texture, taste and appearance. A feast for the eyes and palate! Our server Andrew and his awesome service made for an experience I look forward to repeating as often as possible! He easily handled an entire restaurant with ease and grace.
Yum yum!!! Thank you Andrew!, from your new fans Beverly and Greg of Napa
Very good — we tried the regular beef ramen and oxtail tomato. Both were excellent. Just waiting for them to have beer + sake before considering this as a regular place to go to.
Ushi Taro is recognizable from the outside from the characteristic curtains with Japanese kanjis hanging from the ceiling to shoulder height. The menu offers a selection of four types of ramen, two rices and a handful of appetizers. I tried the first of the ramens as I'm no expert, and I very much liked it: not too salty and rich of ingredients, among which the steak slices were delicious. I drank the complimentary tea that went perfect with the taste of my good.
The service was great and the price appropriate, but not cheap. I will likely go back to try something else!
I personally wasn’t not a fan because I really don’t like truffle oil. I think it overpowers the dish - but it’s just personal preference. However the quality of the food and the noodles were excellent. Nice to see a high quality Japanese restaurant in the sunset!
