For a "hole in the wall" restaurant... this is it. Imagine a hallway size place and you have a cafeteria type choose your food. This authentic Philipino food is good for those who is into the small mom and pop type restaurant. It's not going to even come close to winning any ambiance award but good is good and people are friendly. I'd go again

BEST DINUGUAN IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

Real talk, I've eaten in hella Filipino restaurants. From fancy fusion to classic family-owned eateries, and this spot has the best dinuguan I've ever tasted. Even my lola (grandma) loves this spot--I buy some take-out for her whenever I drive down to LA.

This is a super small spot. Definition of hole-in-the-wall. Flavor for their munggo is also solid. If you "dine-in" here, they also give you a little cup of soup along with hella rice.

Folks who are highly critical probably don't know the carinderia style of Filipino restaurants where the food is displayed in the front for you to see and point to, thus also called "turo-turo" which literally translates into "point-point"

Come here, be humble, and taste hella good food. Forr bougie hipsters, go somewhere else lol.
