Howard's Cafe

Food was great (Salmon Benedict) but the ventilation is poor and needs to be fixed. We had headaches by the time we were finished. Thankfully, the air is clean and fresh outside. Whew!!!!

I'm a big fan of this place. It's chill, the waiters are super friendly and the breakfast menu never dissappoints. Today is the first time my coffee has been off, so I won't complain about that
Unfortunately, no matter how much I want to give this place 5 stars, the place is just too dirty and unkept, and it hasn't been updated since its opening.

Great breakfast at Howard's! I had a big and tasty omelette with spinach, bacon and sour cream. Everything served with potatoes and English muffins. The cafe has a warm, if a bit dark, atmosphere. The service has been perfect and you won't ever eat for your coffee refill

This place is amazing. Awesome food, fantastic service, and a perfect diner to spend any morning at. Sit around and drink 10 cups of diner coffee while reading the newspaper? Perfect for you. Have a lovely breakfast with your sweetheart? Perfect for you! Scarf down a quick breakfast while hungover on a Tuesday morning? Perfect for you!! Love this place, love the staff, love the biscuits and gravy.

The food was delicious and the environment was cozy. The waitress was a little snooty when I asked for a straw and she told me "we don't serve straws in San Francisco". I couldn't help but laugh and enjoy my iced tea without a straw. Overall, a nice experience and we really enjoyed the second waiter that took over when the first took her lunch break. We will be going back, for sure. The food was exactly what I was looking for at the right price.
