Regalito Rosticeria

Small quaint place with yummy mexican food with friendly service. Tends not to be as crowded as other nearby places.

Very strange Mexican food there, not like the typical ones I have had in Mexico or other places in San Francisco. Everything was spicy with some weird spicy sauce, even the Pastor Tacos. The Roast Chicken I thought would be ok with it was over-powered with that spicy sauce that I couldn't taste the chicken. At $19 for half a chicken, that's expensive. You get a much better roast chicken at RT Rotisserie for a whole chicken at the same price. However, this place opens till 10pm which is better than RT Rotisserie that only opens till 9pm.

Quite tasty, and the prices are fair. The salt on their margaritas had a strange flavor, but after taking it off the rest was fine. The tacos were very standard. Decor and ambiance were top notch.

Tried this place out for a quick snack and ended up pretty full and satisfied. The cashier advised me the move was to get the Pescado taco 'Regalito Rosticeria way' and he wasn't wrong. The fish was perfectly cooked and Regalito Rosticeria way is a hard taco shell covering a tortilla with cheese and guac -delicious. The cashier also hooked us up with chips & salsa to get us started. Quite the afternoon snack, check it out!

Tip: cash-only, but there is an ATM inside.

Good food and excellent service, with really no waiting. The inside is very nice and modern. I enjoyed the enchiladas Verde and my daughter liked her enchiladas Rojas. Both tasted very good with only a little bit if cheese. The only drawback is the fairly high price for the dinner.
