Amazing food and amazing service! I highly recommend the Pho, however EVERYTHING I have tried from their menu has been top notch, from their perfect sesame balls(they are made fresh, so order them when you get there) to perfectly delightful pot stickers to the signature Pho, which is something truely excellent.
My friends work here. I wasn't their friend I initially, but they all became my family. The decor isn't the best, but the sesame balls and #2 combo made up for the setting. Vien is a good waiter, who ran his own restaurant in San Jose a few years ago. He has become one of my best friends in SF, treating me to special tea and giving me the best seats in the house. Unlike most SF establishments these days, they actually appreciate you hanging around. Kenny is also fun and will be an amazing chef one day. I highly recommend visiting this up and coming place.
Nothing fancy but a very solid Pho spot. The fact that they're one of the few late-night (serving noodle cravings til 2am!) noodle houses in the area puts them in a league of their own. 1$ drink specials on Thai Tea and Iced Coffee... Did i mention that their broth is pretty on point to boot. The bowl is a great value and goos to the last drop. Thanks again Pho Dong Huong!
Spring rolls and chicken plate were very good. Wouldn't recommend the pork plate. Will go back to try the pho. Didn't have wine or beer but didn't mind us buying a bottle of wine & bringing it in.
