Zazie

I got the miracle pancakes, the flavor of the week came with grilled bananas on top! The pancakes were so fluffy! I also got the chicken apple sausage, which tasted homemade and amazing. 10/10 would come back again to try other things on the menu.

This place is a little gem, full of character and charm. It is pretty cosy, so be prepared to be quite close to other diners. The food was all delicious, starting right from the start with hot rolls fresh from the oven. The mussels were served in a sauce so good that I could not resist finishing it with a spoon. The duck and the steak were both excellently cooked, juicy and full of flavour. For dessert, I would highly recommend the ginger cake. The baked hot chocolate was a bit too sweet. We had a half bottle of the Bordeaux which was quite ordinary. We will certainly be back.

Great breakfast spot off the beaten path. Cole Valley has a charm of it's own and I think it is mostly in part to this amazing restaurant. Of course breakfast is almost non-existent here in the city since no one opens until the hours of 9 and 11am and people are up earlier of course. But Zazie is definitely worth the wait for a good meal.

The servers are helpful, fun, and entertaining and the food speaks for itself. If it's a nice day outside - sit in the back courtyard... it's worth the extra wait.

Always amazing food. While there is without fail a line, it is totally worth it. Got omelettes on the last visit but the pancakes and french toast are also stellar. Delicious coffee, great bread, attentive service. One of my favorite brunch spots when I have guests visiting.

French classics in the coziest ambiance. Zazie servers are always on top of your experience and ensure every detail of the meal is above and beyond expectations. Brunch is fun, but dinner here is my fave. Baked hot chocolate for dessert is not to be missed!
